Service Technician - Ag & Turf Equipment
As a Service Technician at Oregon Trail Equipment, job responsibilities include:  Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products;  Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products;  Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment;  Maintain a clean work area and appearance;  Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments;  Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments;  Track time spent on all service projects and material used in performing the service;  Complete job-related service training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge;  Maintain a high level of customer service while completing tasks. Requirements of the position include:  Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment;  Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment;  Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes;  Proficient in using basic computer functions; Proficient oral and written communication skills; Ability to provide customers with excellent customer service;  Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.  Those with experience of 2+ years and Basic Service Technician certification preferred.

Service Clerk
 Oregon Trail Equipment is currently looking for a full-time Service Clerk.  This full time position will assist the service manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department's operation within the dealership.  Job responsibilities include:  fielding internal and external customer inquiries to the service department, open and maintain service work orders, process warranty and/or product improvement claims, file and maintain service department' records, and may prepare effciency reports.  Basic knowledge of accounting practices and general understanding of mechanical/technical terms are preferred.  Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions is also strongly encouraged.  High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Parts Counter Salesperson
The Parts Counter Salesperson position performs a variety of in-store customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sales, and delivery of parts and accessories.  Responsibilities include:  selling products and/or services to meet customer needs; building customer relationships with current and prospective customers; recording of sales and/or counter transactions; assisting with preparation and maintenance of merchandise displays; verifying of receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placement of Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations; and maintaining condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
